National Cheng Kung University and Quanta Computer established the Quanta-NCKU Joint AI Research Center. Via interdisciplinary collaboration model, a team of AI cloud integration of national level is formed. NCKU expects to begin from its smart campus, combining its power of academics, research, and equipment, and to incorporate the design and operation models of future smart cities. NCKU hopes to demonstrate the practical applications of AIoT, becoming the example of smart cities and the key base of digital development in southern Taiwan. 

The interdisciplinary characteristics of NCKU also join together with Quanta Computer in cross-industry development including smart medical and smart agriculture. In terms of teaching, Quanta has rich experience in the industry that will substantially help enhance the Academy of Innovative Semiconductor and Sustainable Manufacturing faculty and Miin Wu School of Computing of NCKU to improve students' practical experience before their employment in the future.
